Child Care

The UWA staff site provides easy access to information for new and current staff. This includes procedures and planning, Human Resources, the induction process, Financial Services, Research and Teaching and Learning, as well as details of facilities, parking and transport information, and all about UWA’s social side.

UWA staff are welcome to apply for enrolment at a range of child care options for children aged from six weeks to thirteen years of age. The university also offers a range of parent services on campus.

The UWA ELC is owned and operated by the University and is located at the Nedlands campus. It was awarded a rating of 'Excellent' by ACECQA in May 2014.
The OSC Centre offers an after-school care program and vacation care. The Centre is based at 18 Parkway, Nedlands.
Unicare is a community based not-for-profit facility based at 24 Parkway, Crawley. The Centre was awarded a rating of 'Excellent' by ACECQA in February 2015.
The Australian government's mychild website allows parents and families to search for local child care centres. The website includes information on the location of centres, their fees and whether they currently have vacancies.
UWA Kids Sports is a fun and exciting, multi-sport, school holiday program for children aged 5-13.
Breastfeeding child-friendly areas and baby change facilities are available to student,staff and visitor parents.
