UWA Staff

Harvard Business School cases and other materials

The UWA staff site provides easy access to information for new and current staff. This includes procedures and planning, Human Resources, the induction process, Financial Services, Research and Teaching and Learning, as well as details of facilities, parking and transport information, and all about UWA’s social side.

The University of Western Australia (UWA) and the Business School have a license agreement with Harvard Business School Publishing (HBSP) to give staff and students the opportunity to experience Harvard's renowned case teaching method.

Under the agreement, lecturers are able to access a wide range of cases, simulations, book chapters and readings. You can review these resources and access the Teaching Notes online. Note, the first time you go to this website, you will need to sign up as a 'Registered User' and select the 'Educator Premium' option.

Lecturers wishing to use HBSP materials for teaching should ask the Team professional staff in the Business School to place the request on their behalf. You will need to provide the professional staff with details of the materials you have selected and the relevant unit in which they will be used.

The Team members will place the request using the UWA login and password information and, where applicable, will place a link to your selected cases on the unit web page.

Additional information about case studies available through providers such as ‘Caseplace’, ‘Datamonitor’ and ‘The Times’ is contained in the document ‘Case studies for business students’.
