The 8th Workshop on Quantum Simulation and Quantum Walks (2018)

Workshop of Quantum Simulation and Quantum Walks 2018

This is the eighth international workshop on quantum simulation and quantum walks, following the successful series of conferences held in Valencia (Spain, 2011), Okazaki (Japan, 2012), Pisa (Italy, 2013), Durban (South Africa, 2014), Yokohama (Japan, 2015), Prague (Czech Republic, 2016), Los Angeles (USA, 2018).

The conference will take place inside the leafy campus of The University of Western Australia on Dec 14-16 (2018), straight after the 23rd Australian Institute of Physics Biannual Congress (https://aip2018.org.au), which you may also like to attend.

Workshop Themes and Focus

Quantum Simulation; Quantum Walks; Quantum Information, Measurement and Control; Quantum Algorithm and Supremacy.

This workshop aims to bring interdisciplinary researchers from the above areas together, both theoretical and experimental, to discuss recent progress and future directions. The workshop will give out two awards for the Best Research Presentation and the Best Poster to early career researchers.
