UWA Forward

Vice-Chancellor's Voice

Good morning. You may remember some time ago I announced I was writing a new paper, a follow up to my 2012 paper, UWA Futures. My new paper, Securing Success, is nearly complete and I am looking forward to sharing it with you next Tuesday.

To understand the way forward, we need to understand where we are. Securing Success will review our performance against the 15 development proposals set out in UWA Futures, outline our current situation and identify the challenges we need to face, together, to secure our future.

I am certain Securing Success will generate a lot of discussion among staff next week, so please keep an eye out for an email from me on Tuesday. I am looking forward to the conversation, your ideas and feedback.

Sincerely,
Professor Paul Johnson
Vice-Chancellor

The most rewarding thing is seeing indigenous kids come through our program from high school into uni and then seeing them graduate with professional degrees.
