UWA Forward

Vice-Chancellor's Voice

Good morning. It’s a reality that students have a lot of choice when it comes to which university they attend. As we prepare to welcome our new cohort for 2016, I’m pleased to see we’re making our admission experience an even warmer and more welcoming one.

One of the measures we’ve introduced is to send Welcome Packs when we offer future students a place at UWA. We want students to see our offer and feel pride, excitement, and a sense of achievement. We want to encourage them to choose to join us to pursue their impossible. The new Welcome Packs help us do that.

As we come to the end of a challenging year, I want to express my sincerest thanks to all of you. Your hard work and perseverance has been – and continues to be – deeply appreciated.

I wish you a happy and relaxing festive break.

Sincerely,
Professor Paul Johnson
Vice-Chancellor

A Very Admissions Christmas

As staff across the University get ready to take a well-earned break, please spare a thought for our Admissions team who will be working throughout the shutdown period.

This is our busiest time of year, with the TISC results coming out on 30 December. So it’s all hands on deck right now.
