UWA Forward

Vice-Chancellor's Voice

Good morning. We are now preparing for one of the most important days on the University calendar, Open Day. This Sunday from 10am to 4pm we will open our doors to showcase what the University has to offer future students. There are some important new initiatives this year, including a Future Students Hub, the first stop for students wanting information about a range of university services. I look forward to seeing you there for what will be a great day.

I have recently recorded a new video message for staff that recognises the work that staff have been achieving as we continually improve how we manage the University. I also take the opportunity to advise staff about the informal Q&A sessions that I will be leading over the next six months. Please take a few minutes to watch it when you can.

Sincerely,
Professor Paul Johnson
Vice-Chancellor

I have never seen such exemplary team collaboration and engagement. The quality of the blogs and class discussions were exceptional.

Andrzej was born in Gdansk, ‘the city of freedom’, near the Polish Baltic coast. He says his childhood experiences strongly influenced his decision to study and teach as an adult.
